Why i are some Americans so ignorant to the fact that they have it good in the US?

I am also american and very patriotic. It seems to me that americans dont realize how lucky they are to be born here in the United States of America. They have great defense from our military, and even though the economy is crying, we have the biggest economy in the world. But all they seem to do is talk about how the US Sucks. Why dont you go to mexico where the government is corrupt and the people are skinny from lack of resources It seems as if the british have more patriotism than us and it should be the other way around. Everytime here on YAHOO there is at least one american downing this beautiful land. The british never do that to britain. They dont support any wars. It seems as if the patriotic people join the military. Like i plan on doing this year. But the non military are so ignorant. Dont get me wrong i love the US and everything we stand for. I eat the american flag for breakfast. Idk it just gets to me strongest military in the world that no one supports except for the actual people in it. Idk maybe its just Yahoo users. *** kissers
